Tournament Details
This is a two-day aggregate team event. The Overall Champion will be awarded to the boat that has the highest total weight of fish within the aggregate limits outlined below.
Tuna Category
Total weight of the 3 largest Tuna, aggregate
1st Place - $4,000 + Trophy
2nd Place - $2,000 + Trophy
3rd Place - $1,000 + Trophy
Swordfish Category
Total weight of the 2 largest Swordfish, aggregate
1st Place - $4,000 + Trophy
2nd Place - $2,000 + Trophy
3rd Place - $1,000 + Trophy
Overall Champion
Highest combined total weight from the Tuna and Swordfish categories above
1st Place - $12,000 + Trophy
Official Regulations
Tournament Rules
- Boats must arrive and depart on schedule. Any boat that departs prior to the 6:00 AM start time or arrives back at the marina after the 5:00 PM deadline will be disqualified.
- In the event of a tie, the fish that is weighed in first will win.
- Any objections to scoring must be brought forward by either the boat captain or team captain.
- No fish will be weighed from the previous day. No exceptions.
- Swordfish and Tuna must meet the legal length limit.
- Green Canyon is off limits.
Cash Entry
Calcutta Cash Bet
Each boat is responsible for providing a $600 cash entry fee. Money will be collected at boat registration.
Big Fish - $4,000 Cash
Single heaviest fish of the tournament
Big Tuna - $2,800 Cash
Single heaviest Tuna of the tournament
Big Swordfish - $2,800 Cash
Single heaviest Swordfish of the tournament
